Temporary files are the files automatically in windows while using it. After a long period of usage these files pile up and use up a lot of disk space in the C drive. And these files also cause stuttering. These files are unwanted (after the use) and deleting this files do not harm your Cato delete the temp files first you have to open the folder containing these files. Search for Run in Start menu or press windows key in keyboard to open Run. Type TEMP, click Know the folder will be open. Delete all the files/folders. Just skip the files which cannot be deleted. Disk Defragmenter runs on a schedule, but you can also analyze and defragment your disks and drives manually. To do this, follow these steps:
  • Click on the start menu and search for Disk Defragmenter.
  • Select the disk you want to defragment.
  • To determine if the disk needs to be defragmented or not, click Analyze disk.

If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation is finished analyzing the disk, you can check the percentage of fragmentation on the disk in the column. Note: Do not delete temp files always as the installation files extracts its files first into temp folders. After Installation completes you can delete it.
