Better suited to solo producers, streamers, and other creatives.
Pros:
- Easy to setup and use
- Everything can be controlled from the EVO control software
- Provides enough output to use with high-impedance headphones (My DT 990 250 Ohm works fine)
Cons:
- One knob controls everything - mic gain, headphones/speaker volume.
- No independent volume control for headphones and speakers (only available in EVO 8).
- Speaker output will be muted when headphones are plugged in (Smart mute).
If you're planning to upgrade your setup to something with a recording booth in the future, it's better to choose another interface. Choose an interface with separate volume controls for headphones and speakers.
