From my experience, there is no anti virus program that can protect your computer perfectly. Today's viruses are disabling anti viruses itself. I'm not saying that you  should not use an anti virus. I highly recommend you use one, let it be free or paid. You are not done yet! The anti virus program must be updated to deliver the best protection. And I see, still viruses can get away from these anti viruses. Check this list to find if your computer is infected Common symptoms: Unknown entries in the start up list of Windows Executable files getting created when you run programs (This can also happen in removable medias) Files/folders in removable media disappears Programs functioning weird (failing to start/crashing/hanging up) You see multiple processes of the programs in task manager (eg. The 12th class computer science students have SQL in their syllabus. They also have it for the Plus Two practical exams which makes it very important. Hello gamers, bored? I would like to share a list of cool games you must check out. All of these games will work perfectly on an average PC. Note: There is no particular order for the list. Can't find the files you stored in the removable media? Either you are infected by a virus (let's call it "the Folder Thief" for now) or you have deleted them accidently. If there are no files on the device visible, first check it's properties and find out if any disk space is used. If you see no space is used, there is no data on the media. If you accidently deleted, you can use some recover utility like Power Data Recovery to restore the deleted files. Just make sure you don't erase the data by overwriting the free space till you recover data. That's the case of the data loss. The general case has ended, now we're talking Windows. Photoshop is the perfect software for editing pictures. Photoshop CS5 is not working well in low end systems without the correct preferences. Sometimes the images are not loaded or it is not displayed correctly (when we open images in Photoshop).It can be fixed by changing the performance preferences. But this won’t do any good if your system doesn’t meet the minimum requirements for running Photoshop CS5. Open Performance settings from Edit>Preferences>Performance. Set the Memory Usage to a value suggested in the ideal value. And for the History & Cache, the default would be enough. In the GPU settings enabling OpenGL will be only available if your video card supports OpenGL drawing. Or if it supports OpenGL and still the settings aren't available try updating the Video card drivers. When OpenGL is enabled a few features and enhancements are activated.
